Restore contacts from backups
- Open your device’s Settings app.
- Tap Google.
- Under ‘Services’, tap Restore Contacts.
- If you have multiple Google accounts, to choose contacts from the account to restore, tap From account.

You can copy contacts, in vCard format, to your microSD card and then import them into your phone.

However, to view disappeared Android contacts, tap All Contacts option to view all contacts saved in any of your apps in your contact list. If you haven’t changed your personal settings on your device and you’ve noticed contacts are missing, this is probably the solution you’ll need.
Losing iPhone contacts can be very troublesome. You can recover those deleted contacts using one of the methods detailed below. First, you can recover deleted contacts from iCloud backup. Second, you can recover deleted contacts from iTunes backup.
Select “Contacts” and anything you want to transfer. Check “Sync now” and your data will be saved on Google’s servers. Start your new Android phone; it will ask for your Google account information. When you sign in, your Android automatically syncs contacts and other data.
If you have enabled iCloud backup for your contacts, your iPhone contacts are stored in iCloud, NOT on your phone. So if you turn that off, they are all deleted. The good news is that your contacts come back if you turn iCloud back on.

These accounts are (usually) synced by default when you set them up and the respective contacts are shown in your Contacts. To manage “read-only” accounts, you can log in to your respective services (e.g. Facebook, WhatsApp, Viber, etc.) and add/edit/delete contacts there.
If you can’t see your contacts
- Make sure your contacts are using WhatsApp.
- Make sure you have saved your contacts’ phone numbers in your phone’s address book.
- Make sure you have allowed WhatsApp to access your phone’s contacts in your phone’s Settings app.
