THIS IS NOT A RESTOMOD – Final version Totem Super GT, a car designed from the ground up by an Italian company founded by designer Riccardo Quaggio. The production model differs from the prototype presented in September 2021 (here news) and adopts a new and light (only 180 kg) engine 2.8L twin-turbo V6 designed by Italtecnica with power up to 700 HP at 7200 rpm with a torque of 700 Nm, in combination with Manual Transmission 6-speed gearbox.
MORE MUSCLE – Totem GT Superwhose bodywork is inspired by the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT, designed in the early 1960s by Giorgetto Giugiaro, while maintaining the same proportions, more “muscular“, also thanks to the enlarged wheel arches, which should make room for 17-inch alloy wheels. Totem GT is 427 cm long (19 cm more than the historical model) and 186 cm wide (at 26 cm tall). The dimensions of this final versions of the Totem GT Super are also slightly larger than the 2021 prototype.
ALL IN CARBON – frame Totem GT Super is a monocoque the carbon fiber for the passenger compartment, to which the auxiliary frames are attached front and rear. The suspension department has also been upgraded, as it should be for a car that will have outstanding performance (until we know): the double aluminum triangle layout is all the rage even in competition. The exterior of the bodywork is also made from carbon fiber, resulting in a very light car with the total weight the company claims in 1180 kg.
THIS COST ALMOST HALF A MILLION – crew cabin Totem GT Super uses the highest quality materials and is highly customizable by the customer, who, for example, can choose from 45 leathers. 20 copies of Totem GT Super will be produced at a price of approx. 460,000 euros. Only later will a version equipped with an electric motor appear.
